About Rainbow Memorial

Rainbow Memorial is a small project for making permanent memorial pages for the pets we have lost. We built it after our own losses and after finding most existing pet-grief resources cold or commercial.

Each pet gets a page at its own address, with photographs, their name, the time they were with you, your words, and memories from the people who loved them. Once a year, a quiet email arrives so you do not have to remember the date alone.

The poems and guides on this site are written by Hannah Wright. She writes for people who have just lost a pet, in the hours and days when long reading is hard. Everything she writes is free to read, print, and share.

Rainbow Memorial is not a grief counseling or medical service. The guides offer companionship and point toward experienced support organizations when more help is needed.
